Objective
Blue Plate had clean, fresh designs that they used in collateral and other mediums. But their standards and user web experience were in need of structure, organization and a refresh.
Process
The first thing we needed to do was align on the look and feel of the site, and to ensure all the brand colors to be used would have standards around the UI the would work across the entire site and pass accessibility standards.
Component Library
In conjunction with the page designs, we wanted to setup a new component library and standards for efficiency with development handoff. And to give to the clients post launch so they could continue to update their site while keeping their standards consistent across all channels.
